Wendy Scott Joins Planning Committee for Build My Future Metro NJ Event

We’re proud to share some exciting news—our very own Wendy Scott has joined the planning committee for the inaugural Build My Future Metro NJ: Construction Career Day & Industry Showcase! This inspiring event, hosted by the Metropolitan Builders & Contractors Association of New Jersey (Metro BCA), will take place on October 15, 2025, at Franklin Elementary School’s Meeker Street Pavilion in Succasunna, NJ.

Building the Future—One Career at a Time

Build My Future is more than just a career fair. It’s a hands-on, interactive event designed to introduce high school students to the many rewarding career opportunities in the skilled trades and construction industry. Students from Morris, Essex, Union, Warren, Hunterdon, and Somerset counties will have the opportunity to participate in learning labs, demonstrations, and activities led by professionals across multiple disciplines—including cabinetry, electrical, HVAC, roofing, carpentry, and more.

As a member of the event’s planning committee, Wendy is helping to shape the day’s programming, outreach, and experience. She’ll also be on hand at the event, representing the world of custom storage design and cabinetry—and, as always, encouraging young people to explore their creativity and craftsmanship.

The event is open to students, schools, and exhibitors—lunch is included, and registration is free. School registration is open until September 12, 2025, and exhibitor registration is open through July 31, 2025.
