Wendy Scott, the mastermind behind Timeless Closets and Cabinetry based in New Jersey, describes her career in the closets and home organization industry as a "perfect fit." With 20 years of experience, she has become a renowned designer, consistently delivering award-winning closet projects.

A Seamless Transition into Closet Design

Wendy's foray into closet design was serendipitous. Originally part of a kitchen design company, she found herself stepping into the shoes of a closet designer when the previous one departed. This transition ignited a passion that has defined her career. Wendy's commitment to continuous learning and growth led her to actively engage with industry associations, including serving on the Board of Directors and holding the esteemed position of president at ACSP.

ACSP Master Storage Designer: Paving the Way in New Jersey

Wendy's commitment to excellence reached new heights as she became the first ACSP Master Storage Designer in the state of New Jersey. This distinguished achievement not only showcases her expertise but also positions her as a trailblazer in advancing the standards of closet and storage design.

Networking, Connections, and Entrepreneurial Spirit

Wendy attributes her success to the invaluable connections and knowledge acquired through industry events and her active involvement in professional associations. Fueled by a robust support network of vendors, competitors, and fellow "closet friends," Wendy ventured into entrepreneurship. Initially co-founding Boutique Closets & Cabinetry, she later embarked on her solo journey, establishing Timeless Closets and Cabinetry.

Meticulous Design and Industry Accolades

While Wendy's design style leans towards the traditional, she consistently explores the integration of modern techniques. She firmly believes that the true distinction lies in the meticulous "design" details. This dedication to precision has garnered her numerous accolades, including the prestigious Top Shelf Design Awards.

Beyond the Boardroom: A Passionate Lifestyle

Away from the drawing board, Wendy finds joy in participating in car shows with her husband, showcasing their collection of "his and her" cars. Her zest for life extends to playing softball, spending quality time with her family, and supporting her son—a Union carpenter apprentice—and her daughter—a combat camera person in the US army. An avid runner, Wendy has completed four marathons, eight half marathons, and three triathlons, often raising funds for charitable causes like Team in Training and the Jimmy V Fund.
